Statement
Ich verstehe meine künstlerische Arbeit als Forschung. Dabei verbinde ich die Kunst mit den Naturwissenschaften und der Philosophie. Mein Fokus liegt auf der Kommunikation von Tieren und mit Tieren. Dabei ist es mir wichtig, diese Kommunikation auf einer Beziehungsebene zu behandeln, denn eine Kommunikation ohne Bezug zu der*dem Anderen ist keine Kommunikation.
Die Akzeptanz wissenschaftlicher Untersuchungen und Ergebnisse ist sehr hoch. Welche Akzeptanz hat die künstlerische Forschung? Welche Wertschöpfung lässt sich aus den Ergebnissen künstlerischer Forschung ziehen und wie kann Kunst den Blick auf die Welt verändern?
Im Zusammenspiel von Wissenschaft und Kunst erweitert sich der Blick auf die Möglichkeiten des Seins, des Er-Lebens und des Interagierens mit unserer umfassenden lebendigen Umwelt.
I understand my artistic work to be research. I cross the borders between art, natural sciences and philosophy. While focussing on communication of animals and with animals, I communicate in relation to the animal. Communication always refers to the Other.
Results of scientific research enjoy a siginificant level of attention and acceptance. What about the acceptance of artistic research? What added value can be derived from the results of artistic research and how can art change our vision of the world?
In the interplay of science and art, the view on the possibilities of Being expands and we gain a multifaceted understanding of being alive and interacting with our entire living world.
